We’re Freezertech, a company that specialises in the service, repair, and sales of used Jackstone / Jackstone Froster Plate Freezers. After Jackstone Froster went into liquidation in 2007 our staff have banded together from Jackstone to carry on offering high quality plate freezer’s and spares, under the Freezertech brand.
We manufacture new plate freezers, engineered to be fully compatible with, matching and improving on the performance and capabilities of the original Jackstone Froster specifications.
On top of this, we have some of the most experienced ex-Jackstone staff still in the industry, and can offer a complete range of spares, engineered to be 100% compatible with all existing Jackstone plate freezers, using the same original equipment, suppliers and staff where possible. Our extensive knowledge and experience stretches back over 30 years, so we can tell you what spares you’ll need for just about any Jackstone plate freezer still in use today.
We’re a small, family run business, and are able to offer you a one to one customer service experience, and with only a couple of office staff you’re always sure to get a friendly voice on the end of the phone.
Double Contact freezing has been an essential part of the food industry since Andrew Jackson Stone invented the first plate freezer in 1937. It has been proven time and time again that quicker freezing times reduced ice crystal size in the product, and lead to higher quality output of goods. This leads to more flavour and freshness retained when compared to other freezing systems like air blast techniques. The double contact nature of the plate freezer provides a freezing surface from both sides of the block, and has become an essential part of rapid freezing into blocks in the food and drink industry.
Big names such as Jackstone Froster, Clarke Built, Williams Engineering, APV Parafreeze, APV Jackstone & Jackstone Fourseas have all been synonymous with the Jackstone plate freezer brand. Now, Freezertech are proud to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience these companies have left behind in our staff, who strive to continue to build the same high quality plate freezers as they did before.
We try and build as much as possible in house, with all new freezers being built here, as well as many as our spares as possible, which allows us to keep our costs considerably lower than our competitors, as well as ensuring our ability to work to tight deadlines often presented to us by our customers.
So why trust a company that sub contracts everything when you can have that extra reassurance from a company who hand-crafts every Plate Freezer in house?
