FTS Quickfreeze IQF Freezer

IQF Freezer

Why use the FTS Quickfreeze IQF Freezer?

The FTS Quickfreeze IQF freezer is designed from a combination of the IQF fluidised bed principle, and standard conveyor belts, effectively giving the IQF freezer two freezing zones, both fluidising the product and ensuring quick “crust” freezing (freezing the outer edges to aid against product sticking), as well as final freezing on the conveyor system.

The IQF twin zone system allows the product to be loaded at a greater depth, increasing efficiency, reducing both power costs and freezing times.  As well as this each zone is individually controlled which allows a greater variety of produce to be frozen on this flexible system.

The evaporators are engineered to be used for greater running time between defrost cycles, with sequential defrost options available too.  As with all our bespoke freezers, aluminium, galvanised or stainless steel evaporator options are available.

Designed to meet the modern day factory’s needs, the conveyor system offers quick and easy access for cleaning, service and maintenance, as well as conforming to health and safety regulations.

Smaller IQF Freezer units can be factory built and tested, saving you time and money on installation costs, however due to their size the larger ones have to be built and tested on site.  To reduce installation time all our units are designed as modular packages, again saving you money.
